Terms of Service

These terms cover the website design, hosting and maintenance service we provide for a monthly subscription. By subscribing, you agree to them. They're written to be clear, not to trap you.

1. What you get

For a single monthly fee we design, build, host and maintain a website for your business. Your subscription includes:

• A custom website built around your business, with hosting and an SSL certificate;
• A domain name — either one we register and manage for you (included at no extra cost), or your own (see section 4);
• Ongoing content updates on request — new photos, prices, services, wording or sections — normally applied within one business day, at no extra charge;
• Delivery of enquiries from your site's contact form to your email;
• Free email forwarding on your domain (e.g. you@yourdomain forwarded to your existing inbox). Full mailboxes aren't included, but we're happy to help you set one up with a provider such as Google Workspace, billed by them.

2. Fees, billing and what's not charged

The subscription is $99 AUD per month, inclusive of GST, billed in advance through Stripe. That price is all-inclusive:

• No setup fee, no build fee — building your site is free; you only ever pay the monthly fee if you choose to keep it live.
• No hidden costs. A domain we register for you is covered by your monthly fee. The only costs outside the subscription are if you choose to register your own domain, or add a paid mailbox — both billed to you by that provider, not us.
• All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

If a payment fails, we retry for a reasonable period and let you know. If it still can't be collected, we may suspend the site until billing is resolved.

3. Cancelling — no lock-in

There is no fixed term, no lock-in contract and no exit or cancellation fee. You can cancel any time from your billing portal.

• Your site stays live until the end of the period you've already paid for, then goes offline. We don't charge you again after you cancel.
• On request, we'll give you a full copy of your site — its files and images — and help you move it and your domain to another provider.
• We keep your site data for 90 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then delete it.

4. Domains

You choose how your domain is handled:

• We register and manage it for you — included in your monthly fee. It's registered on your behalf and is yours: you can ask us to transfer it to your own account at any time, at no charge.
• You register your own — with a registrar such as GoDaddy. It's in your name and legally yours from day one; you pay that registrar directly for the domain, and we'll walk you through pointing it at your site (the DNS setup).

A free subdomain we provide (e.g. yourbusiness.getyoursitesorted.com) remains ours and is available while you subscribe.

5. Content and ownership

Your website is built from information you give us or that your business has published publicly. You confirm you have the right to use any material you ask us to publish (photos, logos, text).

You own your business content and your domain. You can take a full copy of your finished site — its files and images — with you if you leave. What remains ours is the underlying platform, design system and tooling we use to build and host sites; that's standard for a subscription service and doesn't stop you keeping your own site.

6. Changes and updates

Reasonable ongoing changes to your site are included in the monthly fee — just send them through and we'll usually have them done within one business day. A complete ground-up redesign is something we're glad to discuss separately.

7. Acceptable use

Sites may not be used for unlawful, misleading or harmful content. We may decline or remove content that creates legal risk, and will tell you if we do.

8. Service levels and liability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous three months. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which applies to our service.

9. Privacy

Contact-form submissions and analytics for your site are processed on your behalf — see our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data or your customers' data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Continuing to subscribe after that means you accept the update.
