HackerContent Pty Ltd (ABN 86 649 437 178), trading as Site Sorted ("we", "us", "our"). Last updated 3 September 2026.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It covers our platform, customer accounts, the websites we host, and the outreach we send to businesses.
To build, provide, host and improve your website; to respond to enquiries; to send you service and billing messages; and to run and improve our own service. We rely on a lawful basis and only use information for the purposes it was collected for, or a directly related purpose you'd reasonably expect.
We contact businesses using details they have conspicuously published (their own website or public listing), about a service directly relevant to that business. Every message identifies us as the sender and includes a working opt-out — an unsubscribe link, or reply STOP by SMS. Opt-outs are honoured immediately, permanently, and across all our channels and sending numbers/addresses.
We do not sell your personal information or your customers' information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run the service, and only for that purpose:
Some providers may process data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure it's handled consistently with Australian privacy law.
Your data is stored with industry-standard protections — encrypted transport, firewalled infrastructure and least-privilege access. We keep account and site data while you're a customer, and for 90 days after cancellation in case you return, after which we delete it. We keep limited billing records for as long as the law requires.
Live business websites we host for our customers use only what's needed to function and to count anonymous page views — we don't run third-party advertising trackers on our customers' sites. Preview pages we operate ourselves may use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics services, to help us follow up about the preview; any such use is governed by this policy.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your business, or to opt out of any communication. Just reply to any message from us or use the contact details in it, and we'll action it promptly.
If you have a privacy question or concern, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
